Stevenage District Scouts

Lochearnhead Expedition

Stevenage Scouts hold an expedition to Lochearnhead every 3 to 5 years, the last expedition was in 2016 keep an eye this page for news of the next expedition.

Lochearnhead is a converted railway station that is situated about 30 miles north of Stirling, which features access to the finest walking country in central Scotland.  Within five miles of the Station there are more than 120 hills that are over 600 metres high.

Lochearnhead can provide both an introduction to the hills for the beginner and a serious challenge to the experienced walker, The views over Loch Earn give a tantalising glimpse of water based activities such as sailing. As well as walking Lochearnhead has lots of other activities to offer like mountain biking and climbing
